A member of Laser, Laser Logistics specialises in providing logistics solutions and contractual warehousing and distribution services through facilities and fleet represented in all the major centres in South Africa. The company has the ability to meet client's needs for warehousing and bulk distribution nationally and cross border, specialised refrigerated distribution on a trunking and regional basis and truck rental.

Laser Logistics provides the following specialised services:

  • Public or customised warehousing services are available nationally, with warehouses in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban and Johannesburg.


  • Specialised Distribution services are also available nationally, and this includes transport solutions, refrigerated, retail distribution and projects.


  • Haulage and Cross Border services meet the clients need for bulk distribution nationally and across border.


  • A Truck Rental division with a range of vehicles, including refrigerated units, and is available on a short and long term contractual basis.


  • Cold Chain distribution, a division that provides specialised refrigerated distribution on a trunking and regional distribution basis and is well positioned to take advantage of both retail and long distance opportunities.

In addition to the above, the aforementioned affiliation to our sister companies allow for the seamless provision of product forwarding and clearing (GAC Laser) , as well as road and air express distribution (via Dawn Wing and Time Freight).

Laser Logistics is home to a staff complement of 396 and a vehicle compliment of 145. There are operating hubs in the major centres, and a warehouse capacity of more than 55 000 sq metres. Our extended network of partners with GeoPost and Gulf Agency Company provide us with global reach

Executive

Warren Hewitt (45) CA (SA), CEO. Warren joined Laser in February 2008 and prior to joining the Group, served as a director of a number of companies.

Shaun Kline (42) Managing Executive. Shaun joined Mainline Carriers from The Imperial Group as Brach Manager in March 1998, and was appointed as a director of Laser Logistics in June 2004.

Johan Muller (42) Managing Executive. Johan joined the Group in May 2001 and developed the Haulage division.

Andre Kotze (46) Commercial Director, joined the Group in June 2006. Andre has 21 years experience in a variety of transport and logistics companies.
